The Behobia - San Sebastián organisers will implement a new registration process for this year's edition.
As a new feature, a lottery system will be introduced during the general registration, with the aim of giving equal opportunities to everyone who wants to participate in the race and avoiding the overcrowding and dissatisfaction or frustration generated in previous editions. To enter the draw, participants must pay €1, which will go entirely to the charitable associations with Behobia - San Sebastián collaborates.
As in previous editions, there will be two registration periods for a total of 30,000 places. The first period is only for Regulars 3/5 participants, those who have registered for at least 3 of the last 5 editions, and members of CD Fortuna. The second phase will begin with a registration period for the draw for the remaining places. Charity bibs and tourist packages will no longer be available during the general registration period to ensure more controlled management.
Key dates:
1st Period
- 23rd to 31st March: Regulars 3/5 registration (9 days)
2nd Period
- 14th to 22nd April: Registration for the draw (9 days).
- 29th April: Draw
- 5th to 11th May: Formalisation of registration for graceful runners (7 days)
- 12th May: Not completed places will be transferred to the waiting list.
