Access to the entry process for runners will be by means of a draw system, to give the same chance to everyone who wants to take part in the race.
Regular runners will have access to an initial entry phase. Those who have not entered during the entry phase for regular participants may likewise register for the race number draw.

Registration for the race number draw for the 61st edition of the Behobia - San Sebastián will be open for 8 days, from 14 April 2026 at 12:00 noon until 22 April at 11:59 p.m. All numbers have the same chance of being selected in the draw, irrespective of when they register for the process.
Registration terms and conditions
To register for the draw, you will need to complete a form (this can be done by the runners themselves or someone else), taking into account the following information:
A maximum of 3 runners may be registered per request, to allow entrants to take part with relatives or friends.
If 2 or 3 runners are registered, they will have a greater chance of all being picked in the draw if any one of them is in luck, although this is not guaranteed.
Registration for the draw requires payment of a non-reimbursable fee of 1 euro per registered runner.
The money collected will be assigned in full to the Behobia - San Sebastián Charity Projects.
Each runner must register with one single, functional email address.

A person who has already entered for the race or who has previously registered for the draw cannot be registered.
Confirmation of each registered broker
Each runner who has registered and made the required payment will receive an email at their email address, requesting confirmation to take part in the draw.
Confirmation may be given up until 23 April at 11:59 p.m.
From 24 April onwards each runner will receive their own participation number for the draw by email.
- Assignment of the numbers for the draw will take place by order of registration (date and time), assigning numbers in sequence from lowest to highest. Joint registrations performed as one single process will receive consecutive draw numbers.
- These emails will be sent out from 24 April onwards. process may take some days to complete, given the large number to be sent.
We will perform checks to ensure that the process is fair (such as IP addresses, data patterns…).
If we uncover any irregularity, the registration may be cancelled.
In the event of any breach of these indications, the registration will be cancelled.
Draw Process

- The draw will include only the remaining race numbers from the initial entry phase, and will be conducted before a notary on 29 April 2026.
- The list of numbers selected will be posted on the Behobia - San Sebastián website (www.behobia-sansebastian.com) and a personalised email will be sent to each lucky runner, with a runner localisation code which they will need to use to formalise their race entry.

- Entry formalisation (requiring full entry and payment) must take place between 5 May at 10:00 a.m. and 11 May at 11:59 p.m.
- Entries may be performed by anyone ("purchaser"), who can enter as many runners as they wish in one single process, requiring the localisation code associated with each runner.
- NO changes can be made to the personal details of the runner during the entry process. Each runner will be assigned the details indicated upon registration for the draw.
Waiting List

- Those runners who registered for the draw but whose number was not selected will automatically be transferred to the Waiting List.
- The places assigned in the draw that have not been taken up will be reassigned to the runners on the Waiting List from 12 May onwards.
- From this date onwards, as places are freed up, those who are on the List and ultimately obtain a place will be informed by email, sending them the localisation code to be used to perform the entry process, and the dates when this can be formalised.
