When does the race take place?

The 2018 Behobia-San Sebastian takes place on the 11th of November 2018.

When does registration take place?

  • Regular's registration, C.D Fortuna members, tourist package, supporting bib numbers, rollers and Behobia Gaztea: 4th of April
  • General registration and Adidas promotion: 3th of May.

Which is the price of the registration?

Regular's and C.D Fortuna members 40 €

The price is 45€.

Solidary numbers from 52€ (45€ + 7€ donation).

What do I have to do to register?

Access through the inscription section on this web page and select the desired registration option. The only enrolments admitted will be those done on-line, though the bib numbers, runner bags, etc., can be collected at several localities, as explained in the inscription process. 

How do I know if I’m registered?

Once you’ve registered you will receive an email with your registration number BSS18-…. If you don’t receive the email, please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Registration is done in two stages (you’ll find more information in the Calendar and types of registration section). In order to check the state of your registration, enter the Check your registration section and enter your e-mail and the password you chose when registering.

What happens if, once registered, I can’t take part due to an injury or other reasons?

You can choose to withdraw from the race, in which case you will be refunded the registration fee (minus 6 euros), or ask to be saved a place in 2019’s Behobia-San Sebastian race.

In either way, both the withdrawal and the registration application should be done before the 20th of September, addressing the organization at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . After this date only medical sick leaves will be accepted with the corresponding doctor’s certificate, you have to send it before the 30th october. After the 30th septembre cancellations are not accepted.

If you’d like to hand over your bib number to another person, you can change its owner’s name. This service will be available from the 13th of September. You can make changes in the bib colour, your T-shirt size and the collecting point BEFORE the 20th of September.

If you have the bib number reserved from the year before you can't cancel this year.

If I improve my running marks during 2018, can I change my dorsal (bib) colour?

Even after registering, you can change your bib colour by contacting us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . In order to make these changes, you will have to specify the new times, the distance (20Km or half a marathon), the name and the website in which these details can be checked. The deadline for these changes will be the 20th of September.

Where can I collect de “Runner’s Bag” with the bib, the T-shirt, the medal, etc.?

Throughout the registration process the various “Runner bag” collection points are specified: sports shops in several localities and provinces, the Race Expo, etc. The Race Expo takes place in Ficoba (see on map) 9 th and 10th of November.

Can someone else pick up my “dorsal”?

Yes, but for it is necessary to show the Passport (photocopy) or the proof of registration.

How can I get to the starting line?

There are trains from San Sebastián, Lasarte-Oria, Pasaia, Rentería, etc. that get to the Irún-Hendaya station and from here, shuttle buses take the runners to the starting line. A few days before the race you can look up the timetables and stops in the SALIDA section.

How will my belongings get to the finishing line?

Those runners that haven’t left their belongings in the cloakrooms provided (on the Race Expo days 9th and 10th of November and on the day of the race at the Plaza Gipuzkoa or the Zuhaizti Sportscentre) can take their backpacks to the starting line before the scheduled time and  according to their bib number. These will be taken to the finishing line at the Plaza Gipuzkoa, by the organization.

Where can I meet my family and friends?

The most advisable place to meet is the Plaza Oquendo, near the finishing line, where the massage and recovery areas are located. This square will contain signs with the letters A to Z, you’ll be able to meet your family or friends under the letter you have decided on (eg your surname).

Where can I park in San Sebastian?

The finishing line is in the city centre, and accessing by car is the worst option. The best thing to do is to park in any of the car parks located in the outskirts and travel to the centre by bus. Check the San Sebastian Map.
