Calendar 2023
All registrations will be done online. Runners aged 16 and over will be able to participate.
Registration disciplines are as follows:
"Regular's 3/5" registration Runners and Rollers

Guaranteed vacancies during the period (29th of March to the 25th of April)
If you have been registered in at least 3 B/SS races in the past 6 years (the years that will be taken into account are 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 - BSS Virtual - , 2021 and 2022) you have the possibility of ensuring a place in the race from the 29th of March to the 25th of April, before the general registration period starts.
IMPORTANT
Immediate registration once the period starts is not necessary. The places are guaranteed throughout the 28 day registration period: from the 29th of March to the 25th of April.

Anyone interested, regular runners or not, can register in the promotions from the 15th of June onwards, while bib numbers last.
Solidarity bib numbers
The Behobia-San Sebastián organization offers the opportunity to take part in the race with the Solidarity bib number. From a donation of 7€, you can choose to support any one of the caring projects of your choice.The organization will donate 1 € per bib number to the caring project.
"Etiopía Utopía Foundation" solidarity bib number
A non profit making organization which continues with Angel Olaran’s project, with which they cover Wukro’s (Ethiopia) basic needs and help develop sanitary, educational, food, sportive and other activities. The minimum contribution will be 7 € (only the donation).
"Dravet Foundation" solidarity bib number
Dravet syndrome is an epilepsy that can appear in the first year of life producing a deterioration of the neurological system in the patient. This illness is incurable and has no treatment. Dravet Syndrome foundation is researching for a cure. The minimum contribution will be 7 € (only the donation).
"Vicente Ferrer Foundation" solidarity bib number
Vicente Ferrer Foundation, a NGDO (Non Governmental Development Organization), is working to transform one of poorest areas in India. It’s also working with some of the poorest and most excluded communities in the planet, the dálits or untouchables, tribal groups and the backward castes or harmed castes. The minimum contribution will be 7 € (only the donation).
"Maga Foundation" solidarity bib number
Our main scope of action focuses on providing education to children. They are especially vulnerable and at greater risk of suffering exclusion, problems that worsen when combined with illnesses and/or poverty.

"AmigoSolidarios" solidarity bib number
We are an independent group, without any religious affiliation, political or governmental that brings together a lot of people with a great diversity of origin, age, profession, etc we are all but with the same intention: to help.
"Atece-Association of acquired brain damage of Guipuzkoa" solidarity bib number
ATECE-GUIPÚZCOA’s (Association of acquired brain damage of Guipuzkoa), is a non-profit association, which works with the aim of improving the quality of life of people affected by brain damage as a result of a traumatic brain injury, accident vascular brain, brain tumor, or any disease that results in a lack of oxygen in the brain, so as to their families too. The minimum contribution will be 7 € (only the donation).
"Arnasa - Cystic Fibrosis Association of Gipuzkoa" solidarity bib number
ARNASA, the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Gipuzkoa, is a non-profit organization that works to improve the quality of life of those affected by cystic fibrosis (CF). The minimum contribution will be 7 € (only the donation).
"ACNUR" solidarity bib number
Spain for UNHCR is a not-for-profit organization, established in 1993 and considered of public utility. We are proud to count on 260.000 Spanish donors, whose voluntary contributions make a lot of UNHCR’s work possible. The minimum contribution will be 7 € (only the donation).
"Cruz Roja" solidarity bib number
The Red Cross is a volunteer-based humanitarian institution, on a mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering, and thereby contribute to the maintenance and promotion of human dignity. The organisation has been working in Gipuzkoa since 1870, and even though its beginning was linked to health assistance, nowadays, there is a far greater focus on social programs, and it is through these programs that we offer solutions to the main social problems.
"adEla Association" solidarity bib number
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) stopped being an unknown condition after "Ice Bucket Challenge" which went viral in the summer of 2014. However, is the third disease neurodegenerative most diagnosed after Dementia and Parkinson’s. According to the Spanish Association of Neurology (SEN) in the State, 4000 people have the disease at any given time. About 1000 people are diagnosed, and passes away each year. In traffic-accidents, in 2019, died 1098 people.

Tourist package – Urtaro Bidaiak
URTARO BIDAIAK, Behobia-San Sebastián’s official accommodation agency, provides runners the best accommodation OFFERS in the city and surroundings. A bib number is guaranteed with each booking, as well as the opportunity to check out at 15:00 on the day of the race almost in all the accomodation. A bus will pick up runners who need a lift from different spots in the city to the start of the race in Behobia. Price: 12 Euros.
ADVANTAGE 3/5 usual runners 45€. Registered in at least 3 B/SS races in the past 6 years (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 - BSS Virtual - , 2021 and 2022). Only valid in period of usual runners.
How to formalise registration:
1 Register in www.behobia-sansebastian.com selecting the “Tourist Package” as payment method.
2Choose an hotel and send an E-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the following information:
- Runners names and their pre-registration number (e.g. BSS23-00001).
- Contact phone number, passport and adress.
- The hotel in which you would like to stay (send us three different options, some hotels are full the first days).
- Room type (double, triple...).
- Arrival and leaving dates.
- Start of the race shuttle buses (if needed).
3Once your application has been received, you’ll be sent a confirmation e-mail of the bib number and hotel reservation. The e-mail will specify the account number in which the payment should be made and the conditions of booking modifications and cancelations.
IMPORTANT
If pre-registration with Tourist-Package option is made but accommodation is not requested in the space of 20 days (since the registration), the bib number will be automatically cancelled.

Any member of Club Deportivo Fortuna can register from the 29th of March until the 25th of April to benefit from the members' discount.
Out of this period registration will not be possible.

Waiting list
Once ordinary bib numbers run out a waiting list will be opened in case of vacancies.
Changing bib owner name
If, for any reason you are unable to run the race, from the 13th of September and until one day before the race, you can hand over your bib number to another person. The ownership change has to be done by the person who registered in the first place.
The deadline for changes in the runner’s bag will be the 20thof September (bib colour, T-shirt size and collecting point) as this is the date in which the bag is prepared.
Injury or impossibility to participate
If you can’t take part because of injury or any other reason, you can ask for a reservation in the 2024 Behobia-San Sebastián race. You can also choose to withdraw from the race, in which case you will be refunded the registration fee, minus 6 €. Either way, application for both the withdrawal and the reservation should be done before the 20th of September, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. If you suffer a last minute injury or illness (after the 20th of September), for withdrawal will only be accepted with a doctor’s certificate. The deadline will be the 30th october (last day to send doctor's certificate).
