Before the race

WHERE TO COLLECT RACE BAG

Train and left luggage guide: by introducing your name and surname, the guide will give you the best time and way to get to the starting line from your location and the pick-up location chosen at the time of registration.

Collection of race bag in shop

Registered persons who chose to collect the race bag at any of the partner stores can do so from 29 October until 7 November during the store's opening hours.

Bags will be kept at the selected collection point throughout; they will NOT be moved to the C.D. Fortuna K.E. collection point.

Registered persons who chose to collect the race bag at the C.D. Fortuna K.E. distribution point - Kursaal Congress Hall, will be able to do so:

To collect the race bag it will be essential to present:

  • Bib number
  • QR collection code
  • Registration locator


You can collect another participant's race bib by presenting the required documentation of that participant.

CHANGES IN THE RACE BAG OR STARTING GROUPS

After 20th September (closing date for registration) it is NOT possible to make any changes to T-SHIRT SIZES, BIB COLOUR or CHANGE OF COLLECTION POINT.

CHANGE OF REGISTRATION

A change of registration involves transferring the bib from one person to another.

It is done on the website, and must be done by the person who made the registration, as this is the person who has the e-mail and password to access My Registrations..

This can be done from September 1st until November 5th.

Changes in the race bag, T-shirt, place of collection and race bib colour can only be made before 20th September.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that the race bib is in the name of the person who is going to run. In the event of requiring any attention during the race, the insurance will not cover you if it is not in your name, and will result in automatic disqualification.

Participants may leave their closed backpack (max 5Kg), with the sticker showing the race bib number, at the following drop-off points:


BACKPACK RECOVERY

Backpacks will always be recovered at Plaza Gipuzkoa (finishing line).

To pick up your backpack at the finishing line you must present your race bib.

HOW TO GET TO THE START

TRAIN + SHUTTLE: Renfe and EuskoTren - Special ticket

For the purchase of the ticket to get to the starting line, you need to know the line and station you want to use since there are two different train operators, Euskotren and Renfe, so there are two different tickets.

See the map below to know which is the closest station to know which ticket to buy.

The ticket is valid only for runners and to reach the starting line before the race.

Where to buy the special ticket

This information refers to the reduced price special ticket. The ticket is valid only for runners and to reach the starting line before the race.

For more information you can visit the Renfe and Euskotren websites a few days before the race.

Shuttle bus

A shuttle bus leaves from the Euskotren station at FICOBA to the Start.

A shuttle bus leaves from Irun Renfe station to the Start.

AVISO:
Any PHYSICAL ordinary train ticket that takes you to the exit, purchased at any station in Gipuzkoa, will be valid for boarding the shuttle bus (the Mugi card is not valid for the shuttle bus).

It mandatory to show the race bib and the train ticket to use the shuttle bus.

The ticket is only valid for participants. We strongly request that accompanying persons do not approach the exit.

THE STARTING LINE

There are 19 start groups with their respective start times.

You can find your group and starting time in your bib. It is VERY IMPORTANT to place yourself behind the banner with your group number. The starting time can be affected for different reasons and not match with your bib; however, your group will always be the correct one. If you start ahead of your departure group, you will be disqualified.

CHANGES IN START GROUPS

After 20th September (closing date for registration) it is NOT possible to make any changes in the START GROUPS.

It is NOT possible to start in a group before the one assigned, even if it is the same colour, this will be a cause for DISQUALIFICATION.

It IS possible to start in a group later than the one assigned.

MEDAL ENGRAVING

This service allows you to engrave your name and time on your medal.

Upon reaching the finish line and receiving your medal, you must head to the engraving point indicated in the finish area. See finishing line's infographic.
